Toilets

Aaarrrggghhh. I fear I'm making myself indispensible at work. When I found a job after the church secretary job, I sure didn't expect to be plunging toilets! :( But that's what I had to do tonight. You know, it seems that when people get . . . "older", they forget how to use the toilet. Or perhaps I should say they forget exactly how to care for a toilet. We have more overflows here. For a few residents who have a recurring issue in this area, they are installing "power flush" toilets. You want to stand back when you flush or it just might suck anything too close down! I made sure I emptied my pockets before bending over it! Okay. Enough on that subject. Usually I can call one of the health and wellness gals, but, no luck in that area tonight. I was it. Aarrgghhhhh.

It could be worse ... just remember that. It could always be worse.

It wasn't so bad, actually. I just wanted to whine. And when the flip side of the job is as reflected in dad's post, the toilet thing really doesn't even compare. I am very blest to work in the environment that I do. :) And I should really learn to proof these things before I click "publish comment"! Especially when one missing word changes the context of the whole comment! :(

While Aaron was gone on his trip both toilets needed plunging a couple times. So like 4 times of me playing plumber...all 4 times the kids and I were on our way out of the house and I had to stop to plunge. Aahhh!!!
