You know I have precious little to say – I get up, go to work, come home, sleep, and the next day it all starts over again. So, this is the most exciting thing to happen to me in the last three weeks, I guess. Sad, huh?
Tuesday morning I came out of the master bath, using the same path I’ve used several times a day for the last 7 or so years. I’ve always managed to do so without slamming my toes into the chest of drawers, but yesterday, the perfect streak ended. (See 1st photo). Only today it is purple all the way up, but I can’t get a picture that isn’t too white. So use your imagination. (Ed. Note: Such as it is, see 2nd photo).
Tuesday is my 13-hour day, right? So halfway through my very long shift, I thought “Hey! Ric has a cell phone w/camera! (Duh!) Maybe I can get some sympathy!" So I took said picture and sent it off.
I got the sympathy, and a return photo. (See 3rd photo). But I was at the front desk when I got his picture, and laughing so hard, the residents wanted to know what I was talking about. So half a dozen or so special residents got to see it too! I think I might have cut my life short a bit by sharing that photo, but it was worth it! ;)
