I meet every Friday with Kaydee, who's teaching me to run the video projector. It's fun, but there is an awful lot to learn! So, we've been piddling around off and on for a couple of months now, and last month Karen was doing the Sunday morning thing, so in spite of being asked if I wanted to set it up on Fridays, I declined because I felt that Karen should do it if she was doing Sunday mornings. She's not as comfy with it as Kaydee is (but definitely more so than I am!). So, today Kaydee
informed me that come this Sunday, I will be handling the laptop during practice, and if it goes okay, also the service. It should be easy - it's just music. Her grandpa is "preaching" so there are no sermon notes to do. But I'm accompanying her grandpa who's singing a closing solo, and I haven't done anything like that in so long, I'm a bit keyed up about that. So Sunday will be a high-adrenaline day for me. But I'm looking forward to it. I don't think God made me to just be a pew warmer. It's been okay for awhile, but I'm getting pretty antsy in the pew! ;)

I'm working at it! Don't want to end up a blubbering burden on one of your doorsteps! ;)
